This notice describes how Loud Little Books LLC uses information submitted by adults applying to the Miles Finds Adventure: First Day in Room 205 beta reader program.
Who should apply
Only adults age 18 or older should use the application. We do not ask children to apply or provide their personal information. Please do not enter a child's name, email, school, address, photo, or other identifying details.
What information we collect
For a beta reader application we ask for an adult applicant's name, email address, role (such as parent, caregiver, teacher, or librarian) and, optionally, the age of a young reader. We also record the adult's acknowledgement that we may email them solely about this beta reader program.
How we use it
We use those details to review applications, assemble one small participant group, contact selected adults, arrange distribution of the private digital reading copy, and collect optional reactions. Submitting an application does not subscribe you to our First to Know newsletter or other promotional marketing. Selection is not guaranteed.
Who handles submissions
Application forms are processed using Netlify Forms, the service used to host and collect this website's form submissions. Authorized Loud Little Books representatives can access those records to administer the program. We do not sell your application information or use it for behavioral advertising. No third-party advertising or analytics scripts are included on this page. Our hosting provider may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the service.
How long we keep applications
We keep application records only as long as reasonably necessary to review applicants and administer this beta reader activity, including handling inquiries or withdrawal requests. We will remove records when they are no longer needed, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
Your choices
You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted, or withdraw your application. Use the form below and we will follow up using the email address you provide. If you are selected and agree to participate, any later distribution or feedback process will be explained directly to you.
